"Actually Helped More Than I Expected"
I thought the labs would just be basic practice, but honestly—well, I changed my mind quickly. They matched real tasks really well and helped me explain what I was doing much better in interviews. It also gave me a lot more confidence than I expected.

"Fun at first, but the timing felt off"
The streaks and badges were kind of motivating in the beginning, but after a while it just started to feel like a grind. What made it worse was the timing, reminders or challenges always seemed to pop up when I was busy or not in the mood, which just made it feel more annoying than encouraging. Eventually, the progress didn’t feel rewarding enough, and I lost interest.

"A Friendly Place to Start Learning"
TryHackMe has been easy for me to get into. The rooms are simple to find, and the layout makes sense even if you’re still new and figuring things out. I’ve run into a few slow-loading pages and the occasional small UI bug, but nothing that really got in the way. Overall, it feels like a solid learning space where you can build confidence little by little, which matters a lot when you’re trying to understand something as hands-on as cybersecurity.

"They’ve got a good range…"
They’ve got a good range of content, starting from the basics and going all the way into hacking topics. I liked the variety, but after I made the payment I felt a bit unsure and started wondering if everything would actually be as promised. It turned out okay, but that moment definitely made me a little distrustful.

"Solid value if you're studying for certs"
I mainly used TryHackMe while getting ready for a couple certs, it ended up being worth the money for me. The rooms were easy to follow, and I liked that I could actually do the tasks instead of just staring at notes or videos.

It helped a lot with making things click for the exam because I could practice the steps and understand what was happening. I did message support once when I was unsure where to start, and their reply was basically, “try this path first, then come back to the harder rooms,” which was actually helpful.

The price feels fair compared to a lot of other training sites out there. It’s not perfect, and some rooms are better than others, but if you stick with it and actually practice, it’s really good value.

"Pretty decent overall"
It gets a little laggy here and there, not gonna lie, but for the most part the labs work fine and do what they’re supposed to. Nothing too crazy, just kinda wish it was a bit smoother sometimes

"Pretty solid place to start learning cybersecurity"
I’ve been using TryHackMe mostly for the free rooms, it’s been good. There’s enough free stuff on there to get the basics down without feeling like you hit a wall right away. Yeah, some of the rooms are locked, but the free ones still give you plenty to do, and I like that you’re actually learning by doing instead of just reading a bunch of theory. If you’re new to cybersecurity, it’s a nice place to start. It’s easy to follow and doesn’t feel too intimidating.

"I had a hard time following…"
I had a hard time following this. It kept jumping around from one thing to another, and I was sitting there like, wait, what’s happening now?? Just felt a bit all over the place for me.

"A Bit Slow to Respond"
The reply took a little longer than I expected. I mean, who doesn’t appreciate a quicker response when you’re waiting, right? Overall, it was okay, but the response time could definitely be better.

"Fair challenges and worth the time"
I’ve been using TryHackMe for a while now, i think the difficulty balance is really good. Some rooms are easy enough to ease into or warm up with, while others actually push you to stop, think, and look things up. That’s what makes it feel valuable to me. It doesn’t throw you into the deep end too quickly, but there are definitely tougher rooms when you want a real challenge. I’ve gotten stuck a few times, but in my opinion, that’s part of what makes it worth doing. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Forums Haven’t Been Too Helpful Lately"
I’ve been trying to find answers in the forums recently, but it hasn’t been much help. I’d post or search around hoping someone had run into the same issue, but most of the threads were either quiet or didn’t really point me in the right direction. It feels like the forums used to be more useful, but lately I’ve had to figure things out mostly on my own.

"Still Really Handy for Quick Labs"
I think TryHackMe is good overall. The browser AttackBox usually loads fine for me and saves a lot of setup time, which people don’t always give it enough credit for. Yeah, it can get slow or disconnect once in a while, but it’s not like that happens constantly. For quick labs, it’s still totally usable and convenient

"Reliable Tech Info That Makes Sense"
I found the tech information to be accurate and easy to follow. It didn’t feel overcomplicated or filled with unnecessary jargon, which I appreciate. If you just want straightforward tech details that make sense and help you understand what you’re looking at, this does the job well

"Great for Learning Without Feeling Overwhelmed"
I’ve been using TryHackMe for a while now, the whole process has been really easy to follow. The instructions in most rooms are clear and walk you through what to do without making it feel like they’re doing everything for you. Even when I get stuck, I can usually reread the steps and it starts to click. As a beginner, it’s been a really nice way to learn without feeling totally lost all the time.

"Got repetitive fast"
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I got bored with TryHackMe quickly. A lot of the rooms started to feel really similar, like the same topics were being reused with slightly different names or small changes. I was expecting more variety or at least some fresher content to keep things interesting. For the price, I kind of expected a better mix of rooms. Maybe other people feel differently, but for me it just didn’t feel worth it after a while...

"Felt Too Guided for Me"
I used tryhackme for a bit, and I don’t know, the hands-on labs just never felt that real to me. A lot of the rooms were basically like follow the hint, type the exact command, then get the flag. It felt more like I was doing a checklist with cyber stuff on it than actually working through a real environment. When I tried to use the same things outside the lab, I was kind of just standing there mentally, like okay now what. Real machines are messy and weird, but these labs felt too clean and too expected, if that makes sense. For me personally, it wasn’t really worth it.

"Better With Every Room"
I’ll be fair, at first, we were still getting the hang of things, but our skills definitely improved with each room. By the time we got further along, we were working together better and spotting clues faster. It was really satisfying to feel that progress as we went.

"Surprisingly Easy to Follow"
I was a little nervous at first, thinking I might get confused or fall behind, but the lessons ended up being really easy to follow. One minute I was worried, and the next I was like, oh wait, I actually get this. I didn’t feel lost at all, which was such a relief...

"Clear lessons that actually kept me engaged"
I’ve been happy with it so far. The lessons are clear, hands-on, and easy to follow without feeling boring or overwhelming. I like that there’s a good balance between the basics and actually practicing what you learn. if it ever turns into just long lectures with no real practice, I’d probably look elsewhere, but for now it’s been a solid experience.

"Overall Reliable with Minor Disconnects"
The labs loaded just fine for me, and overall the experience felt reliable. I did run into a few random disconnects here and there, but nothing that completely stopped me from using it. Based on my experience, it seems like a solid platform with just a little room for improvement.
